Event Registration Policies

Medical Society of the County of Erie (MSCE) — Refund Policy

Registrants who are unable to attend an MSCE event may request a full refund of their registration fee, subject to the conditions below.

To receive a full refund:

Notify MSCE staff in writing at least 48 hours before the scheduled start of the event, unless a longer notice window is specified for that specific event at the time of registration.

Send notification via email to Jenna Mattson at jmattson@wnydocs.org.

No-shows:

Registrants who do not attend and have not provided written notice ahead of the required window are not eligible for a refund.

MSCE-initiated cancellations:

If MSCE cancels an event, registrants will be refunded in full automatically.

How to request a refund:

Email Jenna Mattson (jmattson@wnydocs.org) with:

• Your name
• The event name and date
• A statement that you will not be attending and are requesting a refund

Refund method and processing:

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of registration. Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days of approval.

Duplicate or erroneous charges:

In the event of a duplicate or erroneous charge, please contact MSCE staff immediately. Approved corrections will be refunded to the original payment method.

Donations:

Donations processed through MSCE are generally non-refundable, except in the case of duplicate or erroneous charges.
