The Medical Society of the County of Erie (MSCE) is part of District 8 of the Medical Society of the State of New York, representing physicians across eight Western New York counties. District 8 encompasses the regional coordination, advocacy, and professional support for physicians practicing in Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, Wyoming, Genesee, and Orleans counties.Through this district structure, MSCE helps unify the physician voice on issues affecting patient care, public health, and the practice of medicine across the Western New York region. It creates opportunities for physician collaboration across urban, suburban, and rural communities, ensuring that diverse perspectives inform policy, education, and advocacy initiatives.
