Annual Physician Celebration and Gala

Keynote Speaker:

Dr. MaryAnn Wilbur, author of The Doctor Is No Longer In and co-creator of the documentary Suck It Up, Buttercup, which examines the systemic pressures pushing physicians out of medicine.

Every gala ticket includes a complimentary pass to the film screening the following evening, Wednesday, November 11, at 7:00 PM at The North Park Theatre, followed by a discussion with the documentary producer and the author of the book that inspired it.

The evening also features:

• Presidential Installation of Dr. Michael Merrill
• Awards Ceremony recognizing medical excellence in Western New York
• Recognition and engagement of residents and medical students
• Signature auction of locally donated items, with all proceeds benefiting the Greater Buffalo Excellence in Healthcare Initiative

Venue and Accessibility

The Twentieth Century Club, 595 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo. Founded in 1894, it is one of the oldest women’s clubs in the country and a Delaware Avenue landmark.
