As we enter the fall season, that means that it is time to elect the new leadership positions for the 2026–2027 Medical Society of the County of Erie Executive Officers and Board of Directors. This is a very important process, and you, as a member, get the chance to have your say.
These board candidates were vetted by MSCE’s Nominating Committee based on their interest in serving and experience in key focus areas. As board members and committee chairs, they are well-equipped to guide our society forward and advance our strategic goals.

You may vote for the presented candidates or write in another candidate. At the end of the ballot, you’ll also have an opportunity to indicate your interest in serving on a committee, an excellent way to contribute to our medical society and ascend to leadership roles in the future.

Don’t forget to register for the 2026 Medical Society of the County of Erie Physician Celebration, Gala and Awards! We are excited to welcome Dr. MaryAnn Wilbur, author of The Doctor is No Longer In and co-creator of the documentary Suck It Up, Buttercup, as our keynote presenter at this year’s gala. All gala ticket purchases include admission to a private screening and discussion of Suck It Up, Buttercup on November 11 at The North Park Theatre. The documentary examines burnout and the pressures facing the physician workforce, followed by a discussion with Dr. Wilbur, the author of the book that inspired it.
The gala will be held on November 10, 2026, 6:00 PM, at the Twentieth Century Club in Buffalo, NY.
