Stop the Bleed – Save a life
Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign developed by the American College of Surgeons, the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security to become trained, equipped and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
The Erie County Medical Society will host a public training course on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at its conference center which is located at 1317 Harlem Road. Dr. Robert Armstrong, Society Vice President will present this 90 minute program which teach you how to find the source of bleeding, as well as various ways to control or stop the bleeding. At the end of the course, each participant will receive a course completion certificate. There is no charge to attend, however registration is required.
